A Bazaar Monitoring Team constituting the representatives of the Supply Ministry and local stakeholders on Sunday padlocked Panthi Dairy Industry’s distribution outlet at the Beni Hospital intersection.
Many of the packets of milk and curd do not even have a mention of the expiry dates. Ministry’s section officer, Laxmi Prasad Baskota, said the food products were confiscated before closing down the shop. The monitoring team has seized more than a thousand litres of milk and curd from the distribution centre.
Assistant Chief District Officer, Shobhakhar Pokhrel, said the shop was sealed as it was selling products that could have negative impact on consumers’ health. RSS
