While inaugurating the Mechi-Mahakali campaign launched from Jhapa today, chair Oli shared that the UML was awakening the people regarding nationalism pursuant to the constitution and prevalent laws.

He added that the date for local poll was announced due to UML’s pressure and it should be held at any cost. Leader Oli said that the constitution amendment bill cannot be passed at any cost, as it was against the national interest and will of the people.

Similarly, party general secretary Ishwar Pokharel shared that the campaign was launched to strengthen social harmony.

Party senior leader Jhalnath Khanal, leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, vice chairs Bamdev Gautam and Bhim Rawal, standing committee members Subas Nembang and Satya Narayan Mandal among other central leaders were present on the occasion.

Chair Oli inaugurated the campaign by handing the national flag and party flag to party province No 2 coordinator and Secretary Bhim Prasad Acharya. RSS
