The bomb was found wrapped in a plastic at the gate of the residence of Binod Chaudhary (Das), District Police Office, Saptari said. Chaudhary is a trader of electronic gadgets.

A bomb disposal squad from Nepal Army’s Krishna Battalion of Rajbiraj and personnel from Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF) have arrived at the site to defuse the bomb, said Saptari’s Superintendent of Police, Anurag Dabivedi.

Pamphlets of Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (Revolutionary) led by Jaya Krishna Goit have been found at the site. The situation around the locality has remained tense following the discovery of the bomb, according to locals. RSS
