It is learnt that the security persons were compelled to open firing to tame the rowdy situation occurred at Pabati voting centre of Melung rural municipality.

The one killed in police firing is NC cadre Nukul Bhujel, said assistant Chief District Officer Yagya Raj Bhatta, adding that some others were also injured in the clash. RSS
