Metropolitan Police Commissioner’s Office has stated that investigation has been launched to identify the person and the vehicle involved in the accident.

The youth estimated to be of 22 to 25 years of age was found lying on the road with fatal injuries to head and stomach by locals of the area.

The police was informed of the accident at 5:30 am. His body has been taken to the TU Teaching Hospital for a post – mortem examination. RSS
