The missing are Bishnu Rai, his daughter Susmita and granddaughter, said a local Deependra Chauhan.

According to Chauhan, they were first swept away by a landslide fell above their house and then washed into a swollen rivulet.

Battalion commander, Shivram Panta of here based Odin Battalion of the Nepal Army, said a joint team of Nepal Army, police and locals is searching for the missing.
