The power supply was disrupted after the landslide when the incessant rainfall swept away the canal of 125 KW hydropower project. More than 800 households of the area were compelled to grope in darkness due to the power cut.

A local Paropakar Multipurpose Cooperatives, Bamitaxsar, had brought the hydropower project into operation.

The GSM, CDMA and ADSL services of the Nepal Telecom were obstructed with the disruption of power supply. RSS
