According to the Election Commission’s Spokesperson Nawaraj Dhakal, preparations are going on to transport ballot boxes of 129 polling stations to the destination by helicopter. Likewise, those gathered from remaining 741 polling stations are being taken to the district headquarters via land routes. The voter turnout in the first phase elections was around 65 per cent.
