
With this triumph, Nepal has made it to semifinals becoming a group winner.
Elected to bat first by winning the toss, Nepal made 350 runs in 35.6 overs at the loss of all wickets. Chasing the target, Myanmar managed to score only 13 runs in 11.3 overs, conceding a defeat.
As for Nepal, Narayan Joshi and Mekh Bahadur Sen Thapa took four wickets each, Thapa conceding four runs, and Joshi one run with two maidens in each three overs. Likewise, Bishal Bikram KC picked up one wicket.
Nepal’s captain Rit Gautam and Tritraj Das shared a total of 99 runs with Gautam making 106 runs not out off 78 balls including four boundaries, and Das 64 runs from 29 balls including three sixes and seven fours. KC contributed 42 runs, while Kishal Malla 36 and Subash Airee 17 runs. (RSS)
