The driver’s assistant has been seriously injured in the accident that took place as the truck (Na. 6 Kha. 1990) slipped into a roadside drainage. A resident of Lamahi municipality in Dang, the truck driver Hari Prasad Chaudhary died on the spot, according to police inspector at the Area Police Office, Sadakpurbauniya, Kailali Kalendra Bikram Shahi.

Seriously injured Anil Chaudhary of Lamahi municipality has been taken to Nepalgunj for treatment. The truck was carrying cement from Dang to Dhangadi when it met with the accident probably caused due to the early morning mist, police said.
