Also today, the President visited the local Old Town, an old settlement in Geneva. There is no modern transportation available in Old Town as its name suggests.

Nepali Ambassador to Switzerland and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Deepak Dhital, Foreign Secretary, Shanker Das Bairagi, President’s Personal Secretary Dr Bimala Poudel Rai and other members in President Bhandari’s entourage accompanied the President during her visit.

The President has engaged in other visits after attending the ‘World Employment Summit’ held as part of the 106th International Labour Conference.

She is scheduled to head towards Abu Dhabi of the United Arab Emirates later today in connection with her return journey home. The President will reach Kathmandu on Sunday evening. RSS
