One killed in road mishap in Dang

The deceased has been identified as Yam Bahadur Thapa, 61, of Rising rural municipality-6 of Tanahun district, said police.

Police Inspector at the Ward Police Office, Lamahi, Suraj Khadka, said that the accident took place a bus (Na 5 Kha 3101) heading towards Tulasipur from Pokhara hit Thapa at Sundabari of Lamahi municipality-6. He was coming to Tulasipur from Pokhara to meet his son.

Thapa was rushed to Lamahi hospital where he was pronounced dead upon reaching the hospital. Police have arrested the bus driver and impounded the vehicle.
