A security squad from Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj found her body at 9:30pm and brought it to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for a post-mortem.

The police through a press meet today confirmed the arrest of Tamang from Dhapasi area this morning.

The preliminary investigations into the case show that they were in live-in relationships and Tamang killed his partner for refusing his command not to establish relations with other males. Further investigations are going on.
