Dhangadi, May 5 (RSS): An improvised explosive bomb (IED) explosion took place near the Gauriganga municipality ward no. 10 office this morning.
The explosion however did not cause any kind of damage, according to District Police Office spokesperson Bir Bahadur Budhamagar.
Likewise, a suspected object found near the Purwar Oil Store of Dhangadi sub-metropolitan city was defused by the Nepali Army. The incidents reportedly took place during the bandh called by Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN-Maoist. On Friday evening, police had arrested the party member Manu Nepal for taking out a torch rally.
As a result of the bandh, public transportation as well as industries remain shut.
