California, America, May 7 (RSS): Around Rs 60 million has been collected in a Saptaha, as seven-day religious function, organised here with an objective of building a community building of Nepalese at Colorado, America.

The religious function was organised from April 28-May 5. The Puran “holy scriptures and verses” in Saptaha was recited by Guru Dinbandhu Pokharel.

Treasurer of Nepali Ghar (Nepal America Sociocultural Exchange Society, USA), Jagadish Dhakal, said that a total of 581,171 cents was collected in Saptaha.

A trend of constructing a community building by migrant Nepalese at their locality in America by organising religious function has increased of late.
