एजेन्सी । अमेरिकामा ठूलो शीतकालीन आँधीका कारण दक्षिण, मिड–एटलान्टिक र उत्तर–पूर्वी क्षेत्र नराम्ररी प्रभावित बनाएको छ ।
बरफ र हिउँका कारण १० लाख भन्दा बढी मानिस विद्युतविहीन भएका हुन् । विशेषगरी टेनेसी, मिसिसिपी र क्यारोलाइना क्षेत्रमा १७ हजार भन्दा बढी उडान रद्द भएका छन् । अधिकांश सहरमा विद्यालय बन्द गरेर अनलाइनबाट कक्षा सञ्चालन भइरहेको जनाइएको छ ।
उत्तर–पूर्वीमा ठूलो हिमपात भएको हो । न्यूयोर्कमा करिब ७ देखि १० इन्च हिउँ परेको छ । अत्यधिक चिसोका कारण ७ जनाको मृत्यु भएको हो । चिसो अझै केही दिन रहने चेतावनी मौसम विभागले दिएको छ ।
