Inaugurating the integrated mobile camp and distribution of house rebuilding grants to quake survivors at Chandeshwori Secondary School at Ragani, the far-west VDC of the district, Minister Gurung said contributions of people’s representatives from the district to the delivery of relief assistance to the earthquake were exemplary.
He urged political parties to come together and do something for the welfare of the country and people. On the occasion, the Minister handed a citizenship certificate to a local Sujita Budhathoki to inaugurate the camp.
Lawmaker Ramhari Khatiwada said the integrated mobile camp (which also includes the distribution of quake grants) launched from Phaplu of the district with the joint efforts of political parties and local administration would benefit the people to maximum extent.
According to Okhaldhunga’s Chief District Officer Phadindra Dahal said a total of 719 families of Ragani VDC are getting the first installment (Rs 50000) of the grants assistance under camp in two days.
Distribution of citizenship certificates, voters’ identity card, identity card to the disabled and health service delivery are included in the camp. RSS
