The regional security meeting held on Saturday under the chairmanship of western regional administrator Laxman Aryal labelled 460 centres as sensitive and the remaining 582 as normal. Likewise, of the 910 polling centres in province no. 5, 272 were regarded as very sensitive, 274 sensitive and 360 normal. And a decision was taken to make security arrangement accordingly.

 Furthermore, Kapilvastu, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta east), Rupandehi and Gorkha districts have been considered as very sensitive and Kaski, Syangya, Myagdi, Baglung and Arghakhanchi as sensitive districts in the region. The districts categorized as normal from the security perspective include Manang, Lamjung, Tanahu, Mustang, Parbat, Palpa, Gulmi and Nawalparasi (Bardaghat west), according to province no. 4 police office.
