Parsa, March 1 (RSS): An eight years old child has been reportedly raped at Paterwasugauli rural municipality in Parsa. The girl was found in an unconscious state in a field at the municipality ward 5 in the course of a search launched after she went missing on Wednesday, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajan Limbu.

On Wednesday, the girl had reportedly taken her goats to graze on a nearby pasture, but failed to return home that evening, prompting the search, the family members said.

She was admitted to Narayani Sub Regional Hospital, Birgunj, and is reported to be in a serious condition. She has been found left with bruises all over her body including private parts, said Limbu.

A team of police has been deployed find those behind the heinous act.
