New York, April 23: Nepali Congress General Secretary Dr Shashanka Koirala arrived here this morning on a private visit.

Nepalese Public Liaison Committee US President Ananda Bista welcomed him upon his arrival.

Talking to the Nepalese there, leader Koirala clarified that NC was working to resolve the current problems facing the country as the largest party in the parliament rather that changing the government.

NC will come out with a concrete road map to address quake survivors problems and the Madhes issue.

He is scheduled to meet the party cadres and well-wishers in New York, Virginia, Texas, California and other states as well. RSS
