Kathmandu, April 26: The meeting of the Council of Ministers today has recommended the President to call the monsoon session of parliament at 11:00 am on May 3.
The government spokesperson Sherdhan Rai informed that the meeting decided to promote Armed Police Force acting Inspector General (IG) Durja Kumar Rai to Inspector General.
Similarly, the meeting has permitted to Nepal Rastra Bank to issue 2,000 units of silver coins of Rs 2,000 denomination and weighing 25 grams as commemorative coins on the occasion of the 116th anniversary of the Gorkhapatra daily. The coins will have the symbolic imprint of the first issue of the Gorkhapatra vernacular.
Likewise, the meeting has scrapped the citizenship certificates of Mahendra Kumar Mishra, Anil Kumar Mishra and Satis Kumar Mishra as they had received the certificate submitting the fake details in Rupandehi district.
The meeting has decided to appoint Janak Lal Tiwari as the executive vice-chair of the poor household support board, to give approval in principle to prepare the bill regarding national identity card and approving the organizational structure and the posts of temporary employees in the National Youth Council for fiscal year 2072/73 BS.
Similarly, the meeting deputed 12 joint secretaries at various places. Among them, Somraj Koirala, Suman Dahal, Narayan Prasad Sapkota, Jitendra Basnet and Shivram Neupane have been deputed to the National Reconstruction Authority, Hariram Sharma to the Finance Ministry and Jhalakram Adhikari, Yam Lal Bhusal, Yagyaraj Koirala, Balram Rijal and Ishwar Poudel to the reserve pool.
