Rautahat, April 27: As many as 156 foreign women married to Nepali national of Rautahat have obtained naturalized citizenship certificates during seven months since the promulgation of a new constitution by the Constituent Assembly (CA).

Number of those obtaining naturalized citizenship certificates is on rise in Rautahat every month following the promulgation of new constitution.

Among the recipients of naturalized citizenship certificates after having wedded to Nepali nationals are Indian women, said the Rautahat District Administration Office.

The Constitution has clearly specified that the foreign women if married to Nepali national can obtain naturalized citizenship certificate. RSS
