Kathmandu, April 30: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today paid tribute to late litterateur Ram Prasad Sharma ‘Pradeep’.

PM Oli visited the Nepal Academy at Kamaladi where the litterateur’s mortal remains have been kept for tribute.

CPN (UML) senior leader, Jhalanath Khanal, Secretary, Pradeep Gyawali, Minister for Livestock Development, Shanta Manavi, Nepal Academy Member Secretary, Dr Dipendra Dev Giri, National People’s Culture Federation Chairman, Khagendra Rai and Progressive Writers Association Chairman, Matrika Pokharel paid tributes to the late writer.

Sharma’s body will be kept at the Academy premises until 12 at noon. It will then be taken to Pashupati Aryaghat for cremation. Litterateur ‘Pradeep’ passed away after a cardiac arrest at the age of 67 on Friday. RSS
