Kathmandu, May 12: Luxury cars and SUVs of four different models manufactured by the South Korean automobile company, Ssang Yong Motor Company, have made its debut in the Nepali market.

Ssang Yong motors authorized distributor in Nepal, IMS Group, has started distribution and sales of the brand new vehicles.

IMS Group Chairman, Deepak Malhotra, and Company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dikesh Malhotra, inaugurated the Ssang Yong showroom amidst a function held here on Wednesday.

The sales of the vehicles have started in the emerging luxury motor market of Nepal targeting the affluent class, said IMS Group Chair Malhotra.

The IMS Group will sale Tivoli, Korando, Rexton and Actyon models of luxury cars and SUVs.

The SUV Tivoli’s market price stands at Rs 5.375 million. The Korando is priced at Rs 7.5.25 million while Rexton costs Rs 9.975. The SUB Actyon is priced at Rs 5.5 million.

IMS Motors will offer scratch coupon cards with attractive prizes for the first 14 ‘special customers’ purchasing the Ssang Yong vehicles. RSS
