Kathmandu, June 12: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that the discontent with the new constitution could be addressed through talks and dialogue.
Addressing the party announcement gathering of Baburam Bhattarai-led Naya Shakti Nepal at Dasarath Stadium in the capital city today, PM Oli claimed that the new national statute does not discriminate any caste, community and sect.
Oli was quick to add that if there were any weakness in the constitution, it could be corrected.
Urging the disgruntled Madhesh-centric political parties to come on the board, the PM said, “The government is at loss for request. I have dispatched letters to the dissenting political parties repeatedly, urging them to resolve the differences through talks.”
He spoke of the need for one and all to be committed to usher our multilingual and geographically diverse country further in the path of development and prosperity as guided by the law.
On the occasion, PM Oli extended his best wishes to the newly formed political parties for its role in the commonweal. RSS
