Kathmandu, Dec 1: Nepal went down to the host Thailand by eight wickets in its fourth match of the ACC Women’s Asia Cup T20 underway in Thailand.
Earlier, Nepal had to suffer three consecutive defeats against Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Choosing to bat after winning the toss, the Nepali team managed to score 63 runs all out in 19.5 overs.
Chasing the target of 64 runs, Thailand easily met it in 16 overs losing two wickets, leading to the winner.
As for Nepali team, the failure to share a good partnership at the crease had cost it hugely.
It lost a wicket to score only three runs. The wicket loss continued in fast succession, reaching five when the score was 58 runs. As for the Nepali team, Jyoti Pandey scored the highest 16 runs.
Meanwhile, Nepal will take on India on Friday to play its fifth and final match of the tournament. RSS
