Kathmandu, Dec 6: Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat is leaving here for Malaysia tonight to take part in the ninth annual gathering of ‘Bali Democracy Forum’ scheduled to be held on December 8-9. 

The Forum was established in 2008 on the initiative of the Government of Indonesia with a view to promoting democracy and international cooperation in the Asia Pacific region.

The theme of this year’s gathering is ‘religion, democracy and pluralism’. Foreign Ministers and representatives from 58 countries in the region are participating in the gathering. RSS
