Bara, Dec 10: Four people were killed and three others injured in a road accident at Adambhar of Pathlaiya-Amlekhganj road section today, police said. 

The accident took place when a bus (Na 6 Kha Ka 7674) heading to Hetauda from Birgunj collided with a car (Ba 12 Cha 8290) coming from opposite direction.

The deceased have been identified as car driver Deepak Thapa, 23, of Mangaltar VDC-4 of Khotang district, Mahendra Ale of the same place, Kumari Thapa, 25, of Itahari and her 11-month son Jenish Ale.

Of them driver Thapa died on the spot while others died in course of treatment at Hetauda Hospital, police added.

Similarly, other injured are Kamal Bahadur Ale, 24, of Itahari-4, his wife Yashoda Thapa and 16-month daughter Aashana Ale.

They are undergoing treatment at Hetauda hospital. RSS
