Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Shankar Nayak on the behalf of Finance Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara had on January 23 tabled the bill in the parliament meeting seeking its approval.

Earlier, Finance Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara said that the matters not included in the bill will be addressed by forming laws.

Minister Mahara, saying all political parties in principle have accepted it, stated that the fund has the initial capital of Rs 10 million as it was prepared to include only Rs 2.5 million.

Lawmakers, Gangalal Tuladhar, Rewatiraman Bhattarai and Prem Suwal had participated in the discussion in principle on the bill.

They stressed on reaching the fund to one billion rupees as it would be for emergency use in natural disasters cases. RSS
