Police identified the deceased as Balla Yadav, 45, of Rautali-6 in Mahottari dsitrict and Kiran Devi Shah, 32, of Sisiwa in Tarayati in Dhanusha district.

The bus (Na 7 Kha 1614) coming to Janakpur from Kathmandu overturned due to over speeding, according to the Area Police Office, Simara. The injured ones are receiving treatment at various hospitals in Simara.

Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt for the bus driver who absconded following the incident. RSS
