The probe committee formation follows the direction of Minister for Internal Affairs and Law of Province 6 Naresh Bhandari in this regard.

The eight-member committee is asked to investigate and find causes of the accident and submit a report.

Other committee members include Deputy Superintendent of Police Bir Bahadur Oli, representatives from Road Division Office, Surkhet, Transportation Office, the District Police Office, Surkhet, Traffic Office and officer of the ministry.
