
Kathmandu, April 14 (RSS): The Sushil Koirala Memorial Foundation and the Non Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for collaborating in the social sector.
The foundation has been set up to the memory of Nepali Congress president and former Prime Minister the late Sushil Koirala.
As per the MoU the two organisations would jointly carry out works in the education, health, sports and other social sectors of the country.
Foundation member-secretary Atul Koirala and NRNA president Bhawan Bhatta signed the MoU on behalf their respective organisations at a ceremony held at NRNA’s office at local Nagpokhari.
The Foundation would prepare the plans in the social sector and both organisations would collaboratively implement the programmes.
Before this, the Foundation has signed an agreement with Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune, India for implementing plans and programmes for the development of the education and health sector, and social work.
The Foundation was established on October 9, 2016.
