
Kathmandu, April 15 (RSS): Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Lal Babu Pandit has said the government employees should quit the jobs if they deny going to the deputed workstations.
Speaking in a face to face programme organized by the Reporters’ Club in the Capital City today, Minister Pandit said the employees could be deputed in all three levels (federal, provincial and local) as per necessity.
On a different note, he added that the government postponed the decision of volunteer retirement system (VRS) of the civil servants due to the shortage of civil servants.
Minister Pandit said the provincial public service commission will manage the employees at their own provinces after their formations
He said that it was a period of administrative transitional phase so the employees have the decisive roles to end such.
Similarly, Nepali Congress leader Dr Narayan Khadka suggested the government adopting balanced approaches in this transitional phase. He said the NC welcomes government’s decision to recall the security personnel deputed for the security of former VIPs to their services.
