Beni, Oct 13 (RSS): Mountaineers have started coming to scale the Mount Churen in Gurja of Dhaulagiri rural municipality-1.

The Churen mountain was first scaled in 2065 B.S. but had not received mountaineers since then. Only this week, two teams have left for the base camp to scale the Gurja and Gurja west mountains, according to ward Chair Jhaka Bahadur Chantyal. A south Korea team is trying to scale the 7193 meters high mount Gurja from the southern side.

The second team involves citizens from France, Canada and Switzerland that will try to reach the summit of Ghustung peak. Nepali mountaineer Rajan Bhote  is leading the team. Also known as Paschim mountain, Gurja west is 6,465 meters high.
