Hetauda, Makawanpur, June 17 (RSS): Kathmandu-Hetauda road under the Madan Bhandari Highway has been disrupted by a landslide triggered by a rain last night at Manebhanjgyan and Sukaura dam of Sisneri.

Passenger buses and other vehicles heading to Hetauda from Kathmandu have been stuck midway, stranding hundreds of passengers. A team of technicians along with a dozer has been sent to the affected site to clear debris, and the road would be cleared till today noon, said Chief District Officer Chakra Bahadur Buda.

Likewise, one-way traffic has been allowed following clearance of Hetauda-Kathmandu road under the Tribhuvan Highway that was obstructed by a landslide caused by a rain last night at Mahavir and Satghumti.
