Kathmandu, April 15: The ‘valley level special security seminar’ has been kicked off today aimed at preparing special security strategy for upcoming days.

Issues related to ease fuel supply and to be reportedly organized protest in capital by Tarai-centric parties including ethnic identity based parties have been discussed in the meeting, it is learnt.

Addressing the meeting, Minister Basnet expressed confidence that the seminar would be successful to prepare common view to forge security strategy.

He urged the officials to be more active to maintain the prompt security as the country was in critical mode rather usual normalcy.

Minister Basnet urged all to be concentrated for the enforcement of the constitution.

Similarly, Minister Basnet opined for easing the supplies adding that people were facing difficulties due to irregularity of supplies.

Minister Basnet, secretary Narayan Gopal Malego, joint secretaries at the Ministry, and chiefs of Nepal police, Armed Police Force, National Investigation Department, chief district officers and police chiefs of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur are attending the seminar.
