Kathmandu, July 8: CPN (UML) leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has claimed that a majority government could not be an alternative to the incumbent government.
Addressing a cultural programme organised by the Lalitpur Youth Association on the occasion of its 26th establishment day here Friday, leader Nepal said it was hard to change the incumbent government built on the basis of nationality just in the interests of a certain group.
“A national unity government of three major political parties is essential to enforce the constitution,” he said, adding that they (three political parties) must be open to create a ground for it.
On the occasion, the former Prime Minister was of the view of promoting Nepal’s indigenous culture and traditional music. RSS
