Kathmandu, July 11: The Human Rights and Peace Society (HURPES) has stressed the need of addressing the demands put forth by Dr Govinda KC, as per the due process and in a democratic way.
Dr KC has been staging fast-unto-death from Sunday putting forth four-point demand.
A press release issued today by Society general secretary Uttam Pudasaini, states, “Discussion and expressing statement in favour or against the demands put forth by Dr KC is natural in the society after the announcement of the fast-unto-death. But his demands should be addressed.”
Dr KC has been staging hunger strike for the eighth time from Sunday demanding reform in medical education. RSS
