The rally that began from the party office went around the town. The demand comes after the Government decided to make two major cities in the Tarai—Birgunj and Biratnagar metropolitan cities. The UML has demanded that Janakpur as well as Butwal be made a metropolis.
The UML also submitted a memorandum through the district administration offices. RSS
