Both were deputed there for the security of the temple.  According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Khadga Bahadur Khatri, of Kaski District Police Office, Lance Corporal, Basanta Lohara, shot dead his friend Lance Corporal Ganesh Singh Bista at 4:30 am today.

Bista died in course of treatment at the Gandaki Medical College. Lohara had shot dead Bista driven with personnel hatred and in a fit of anger, said NA Spokesperson Jhankar Bahadur Kadayat. RSS
