The demonstration that lasted for an hour was organized at the call of the Solidarity for Govinda KC Alliance. The demonstrators carried placard and chanted slogans calling for CJ Parajuli’s resignation.

Addressing a corner meet held after the demonstration, Dr Govinda KC said the judiciary, the sole hope for the people, has been marred in corruption and hence the movement was organised to get the Judiciary rid off CJ Parajuli.

CJ Parajuli will be forced to leave his position before his term ends, Dr KC said.

Also speaking on the occasion, Bibeksheel Sajha Party leader Ranju Darshana said the movement was not only against CJ Parajuli but against corruption as a whole.
