Dunai (Dolpa), May 21: Teaching learning activities of most of the schools in Dolpa district have been obstructed with the onset of yarsagumba picking season as students started going to high hills to collect yarsa to maintain their school fees for the year.

The District Education Office has directed the schools not to close the teaching learning activities in this season as teaching learning activities would be affected due to closure of schools for more than one month.

Hemraj Hamal, Principal of Tripura Secondary School, said that although they have not closed the schools and teachers remain present in schools as per the direction of the DEO, most of the schools started closing their teaching learning activities after students remain absent.

Most of the guardians and students said that the students should not be stopped to collect yarsagumba as it is the season to make good income. RSS
