One dies, six go missing while scaling Everest

Kathmandu, May 23: An Indian national Suvas Paul died in course of scaling the Mt Everest, the highest peak of the world last night, said Department of Tourism, Everest Base Camp sources.

Similarly, six other mountaineers have gone missing. Of the missing, three are Nepalese while three are Indian nationals. They went missing from the last camp to the summit of the world’s highest peak.

An expert team with helicopter has been dispatched for rescuing the missing mountaineers. RSS
