Gaighat, July 2: A person has died of snake bite Friday evening. Layar Devi Chaudhary,38, of Jogidaha VDC-4 was bitten by a poisonous snake on Tuesday and died in course of treatment at the Sri Hospital in Biratnagar.

Chaudhary was reportedly bitten by a cobra snake while she was cleaning the kitchen in the morning. Following the incident, Chaudhary had been rushed to the Nepali Army snake bite treatment centre in Bhulke. She was then referred to Biratnagar after treatment was not possible there, according to local resident Dipak Chaudhary. RSS
