Banepa, Nov 9: Nepali Congress senior leader Ramchandra Poudel has accused Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal of attempting to practise autocracy.
Addressing the first national convention of the NC Town Committee Presidents organised by the NC Banepa Town Committee today, he said the Dahal-led government formed with the direct support of the party is working unilaterally.
A code of conduct was supposed to be developed for the work operation of the government, but the leadership failed to give an attention to that, he said.
The Congress senior leader went on to say that the party could not be run by present president Sher Bahadur Deuba.
“Party leadership needs vision, but the Congress present leadership lacks this trait,” he claimed.
Also speaking on the occasion, Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Sita Devi Yadav said the rebuilding of earthquake-damaged structures has only witnessed the 35 per cent progress and that’s why peace and order at local level that was disturbed by the quake is yet to be restored.
In the two-day convention, 217 representatives across the county are taking part. RSS
