
A meeting of the Council of Ministers that convened at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar today decided to give incentive allowance to the employees providing services more than the fixed office time.
Government spokesman and Minister for Information and Communications, Surendra Kumar Karki said the Cabinet meeting decided to send the term of reference and the list of rights of the federation, province and local level to the Economic Infrastructure Committee under the Council of Ministers after holding extensive discussions on these.
Forest guard Shahi declared martyr
The government has also decided to declare forest guard Ganesh Bahadur Shahi who was killed while on duty in Khokling of Taplejung district recently a martyr and to provide one million rupees ex-gratia support to his family.
Shahi is a resident of Jajarkot district.
Likewise, the Cabinet meeting today decided to provide one million rupees each to the families of sports coach Basudev Bhattarai (Banke) and Office Chief of the District Sports Development Committee, Karna Bahadur Khadka.
Bhattarai and Khadka died while on their way to attending a sports competition.
Similarly, according to government spokesman Karki, the Cabinet meeting today decided to set up the Rastriya Ayurved Panchakarma tatha Yogsewa Kendra, an ayurvedic and yoga centre, near Budhanilkantha in Kathmandu, to constitute the Integrated Urban Development Committee, to extend the term of the honorary consul Fatma Gunseli Malakoch based in Istanbul, Turkey and to accept Rs 20.28 billion loan assistance provided by the Asian Development Bank for road improvement and expansion project.
