The deceased has been identified as assistant driver of the same tanker, 14 – year – old Punaya Shah, said District Police Office, Chitwan. He died in course of treatment at 9 pm last night at the College of Medical Sciences, Bharatpur.

His body has been kept at the same hospital for an autopsy. The tanker driver is currently under detention with the Bhandara police in eastern Chitwan.

Meanwhile, a person drowned in the Narayani river on Sunday. Junga Bahadur Bagadi of estimated 17 to 18 years of age drowned while swimming, police said. RSS
