Chitwan District Prison jailer Kamal Prasad Kafle shared that the inmates whose jail-term has been exempted would be be handed over to their family members today.

The highest number of inmates receiving amnesty for a particular case is six. Six inmates jailed under vehicle crime cases were granted amnesty while four under arms and ammunition related cases and four under the murder case.
