The tipper (Ba 4 Kha 4649) heading to Banepa from Kathmandu hit the scooter (Ba 55 Pa 3725) from the same direction, killing 20-year-old Bimala Thagunna of Shuklaphanta-8 in Kanchanpur district, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mahendra Marasini said.

Thagunna, who are critically injured in the incident, breathed her last while receiving treatment at Scheer Memorial Hospital, Banepa.
