
The temporary police recruited by the government in the second week of April were required to stay on duty till the completion of the second phase of the local polls.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Rishiram Kandel, said the temporary police personnel wishing to quit their jobs are allowed to do so if they do not want to continue their services in the district where the local polls have been conducted. He said their resignations were accepted.
A total of 772 temporary police personnel were recruited in Nuwakot for the May 14 elections. RSS
